Paint thick-cut bacon with any flavor of Not Ketchup and stick it in the oven. You won’t believe how much better bacon is when it’s coated with sweet, tangy, spicy Not Ketchup.

   1 pound thick-cut bacon

1/2 cup Not Ketchup, any flavor

  Coarse sea salt (optional)

 *1 hour | 4 servings

All ( Recipes )

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Spray a sheet pan with nonstick cooking spray. Lay the bacon slices on the sheet pan in a single layer. Don’t worry if the slices are touching each other – they will shrink as they cook.
  3. Using a pastry brush, coat the top of each slice of bacon with Not Ketchup sauce, using about 1/4 cup total.
  4. Cook the bacon in the preheated oven about 20 minutes.
  5. Remove the pan from the oven and carefully turn over each piece of bacon (a spatula or tongs works best). Use the remaining Cherry Chipotle or Smoky Date Not Ketchup to coat the bacon slices’ second sides.
  6. Return the baking sheet to the oven for another 10-15 minutes.
  7. The bacon is done when it is crisp and the Not Ketchup glaze is thickened and glossy. Stack the bacon slices on a serving plate. Serve immediately.
